T-Mobile support wasn鈥檛 very helpful. Seems this is more built to get cheap high speed internet but not for gaming/video conferencing. I have the verizon home 5g internet as well and I get close to 700 down and great ping but the downside is their gateway has to attach to my window and blocks my nice view which drives me crazy.

I already have a wireless router (Amplifi) that covers my house much better than the t mobile device so I鈥檇 like to use that, which means I need to put the t mobile router in bridge mode/DMZ and turn off the wireless radios.
May 27, 2021 路 N41 is the 2.5 GHz 5G band, also known as Mid Band that T-Mobile acquired in the Sprint merger. My T-Mobile gateway is connected to the N41 band and I get up to 600 Mbps download. The tower is about 1 mile from my home. My gateway originally connected to the N71 band, but the tower must have been upgraded as it now connects to the faster n41 band.
